It’s officially that time of year again… football season! 🏈 The air is just a little crisper, stadium lights are glowing, and there’s something magical about hearing a marching band play under the Friday night sky. Whether you’re a diehard fan or just there for the nachos (no judgment here—nachos are essential!) there’s no denying that football brings people together.

That’s one of the reasons I think football and romance go hand in hand. Community, loyalty, hope, heartbreak, and the thrill of cheering for something bigger than yourself—it’s all there.

My Game-Day Favorites

Here are some of my football season traditions:

• Favorite Game Snack: Nachos, chips with any dip, meat and cheese trays, basically any appetizer you can think of and I love it!

• Favorite Drink: Coca-Cola, sweet tea

• Favorite Fall Cozy: A scarf big enough to double as a blanket (bonus points if it’s in team colors)

• Favorite Halftime Break: Sneaking in a few pages of whatever romance I’m currently reading.

Nothing says welcome spring quite like a warm drink enjoyed on a bright morning! If you’re a coffee lover like me, a vanilla lavender latte is a perfect way to embrace the season.

Prefer tea? A floral chamomile blend with a drizzle of honey feels like a hug in a cup. And of course, cupcakes are a must- 🧁lemon, strawberry, or anything with pastel frosting!🧁

We are getting just the slightest hint of fall in my part of the world, and I am SO READY for fall! October through December is my favorite time of the year. I just love everything about the fall season and the build up to Christmas.

What are you favorite fall traditions? This time of year can go fast, so this is what we are doing to try to soak it in.

1. Going to a local farm/pumpkin patch for the day.

2. Attending out local fall festival.

3. Trick or Treating on the big night.

4. Cooking all the soups and hoping to bake a sweet treat or two— speaking of food, please share your favorite fall recipes!
